Kiambu County leadership led by the area governor Kimani Wamatangi has dismissed the ongoing doctors' strike in the county as one of the schemes aimed at undermining them. Speaking during an education forum in Kabete, Wamatangi accompanied by several members of Kiambu County Assembly led by the speaker Charles Thiong'o, accused the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union of being used by their political rivals to portray a healthcare crisis in the county.
