Interior Cabinet Secretary Professor Kithure Kindiki has asked Kenyans living along the borders to be extra vigilant and help security officers deal with any threats including terrorism. Speaking during the opening of the national border management conference in Nairobi, Kindiki said the future of securing the borders lies in embracing technology and artificial intelligence as the threats have now moved to the virtual space. The CS also added that the government will continue to equip security forces with modern security equipment to combat threats posed through the borders
