Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has assured football fans that the Raila Odinga International Stadium will soon be ready for use as construction nears completion. Following an inspection of the facility on Tuesday, Kindiki said the 60,000-capacity stadium is on course to become one of the best sporting venues in the region. The stadium, alongside the refurbished Kasarani Stadium, is expected to host matches during the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which Kenya will co-host with Uganda and Tanzania.
