Kisumu County Commissioner Mohammed Ramadhani Mwabudzo has warned against the use of goons in all public events in Kisumu. Mwabudzo says security will only be provided by the police and anyone fashioning themselves as security agents will be dealt with decisively. The declaration came after a three-hour meeting with the political class in the county following Sunday chaos that marred a fundraiser at St Stephens cathedral in Kisumu.
