Kitengela mother undergoes surgery after foetus dies in womb

Abigail Mutubula, a patient at Kitengela Sub-County Hospital who was stuck with a dead foetus in her womb, has undergone an emergency cesarean section. Abigail’s plight was featured on Citizen television on Saturday as she accused the hospital’s management of neglect and subjecting her to a series of failed induced labour attempts, which compromised her health. The hospital refuted the allegations and confirmed that the patient has been attended to and is recuperating.
