A Kitui family seeks financial help to have kin’s body released from Mama Lucy Hospital for burial

A family in Kitui is seeking help in laying to rest their kin who died two and half months ago. 54-year-old Regina Amina’s body has been detained at the Mama Lucy Hospital mortuary in Nairobi since October 24th last year with the family unable to pay a 300,000 shillings bill. The deceased son is also entangled in a row with his maternal uncles over his mother’s final resting place. Timothy Kipnusu has details on this story.
