The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union has expressed concerns over exploitation of foreign doctors by certain private hospitals. According to KMPDU, many of these practitioners are not employed to address skills gaps and are being paid wages below those stipulated by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission and negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreements.
