Leaders condemn Gachagua's tourism boycott remarks

The government, tourism stakeholders and leaders from the Coast region have condemned remarks by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua calling for a boycott by international tourists. The Kenya Tourism Federation says Gachagua's statements risk undermining confidence in the tourism sector, urging investors and tourists to disregard the remarks. Cabinet Secretaries Ali Hassan Joho and Salim Mvurya have accused Gachagua of seeking to divide Kenyans and undermine the Coast's main economic pillar. Francis Mtalaki reports.
