M-pesa foundation unveils a new maternity in Makueni county

Residents of Mutu-lani in Kaiti Constituency, Makueni County, have a reason to smile after the commissioning of a new maternity wing aimed at improving access to maternal healthcare. The 17 million shilling facility, built through a partnership between the M-Pesa Foundation and the Makueni County Government, is expected to ease the burden on expectant mothers who have long travelled long distances in search of care.
