Mageta Island shines as a model for renewable energy

As the world continues with the push for clean energy adoption to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, Mageta Island in Siaya County is emerging as a classic example of clean renewable energy. Two years after the commissioning of the Mageta Solar Mini Grid, schools, hospitals, and businesses are now operating with solar power, transforming the lives of about 25,000 people.
