Marakwet mudslides kill 40, relief efforts underway

Hundreds of families who were displaced by the Chesongoch mudslide that destroyed their homes and uprooted their lives are still living in makeshift IDP camps. Even as they prepare to lay to rest 40 people who lost that fateful day, and search for eight others who are buried under the mud to date, the families hope the planned resettlement to safer grounds could happen sooner rather than later.
