The Federation of Public Transport Sector has called off the nationwide public transport strike that was scheduled for next Monday, February 10, 2026. The strike was planned in the wake of increasing cases of violent attacks on the public service vehicles by boda boda operators during accidents. During a meeting with boda boda operators in Narok County, the Federation of Public Transport Sector, Chief Executive Officer, Kushian Muchira said talks have commenced to resolve the issues between the two sectors.
