Matiang’i defends clergy’s critique of leadership

Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Dr. Fred Matiang’i has backed the clergy for taking a firm stand against what he described as poor leadership in the country. Speaking in Kajiado, where he attended the wedding of Bishop Gadiel Lenini’s son, Dr. Matiang’i said national leaders must heed the counsel of the church. Bishop Lenini heads the Kajiado Diocese under the Anglican Communion. Dr. Matiang’i further underscored the importance of family, faith, and community, saying they remain the true pillars of national unity.
