The Kenya Metrological Department is warning of continued rainfall and strong winds in parts of coast, Garissa, and the Eastern Part of Kitui County. This comes as transport was paralyzed along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway after Kijabe bridge that connects Gichiengo Kijabe and Maaimaui roads was destroyed following heavy rains. Elsewhere road users have been urged to exercise caution along Kangudo road at Joska bridge after residents woke up to find a crack on the road posing a risk to road users.
