MOMBASA LAUNCHES BLUE ECONOMY SKILLS PROGRAMME TO BOOST YOUTH EMPLOYMENT

Mombasa County has launched a major youth skills development programme aimed at creating employment opportunities in the blue economy through specialized vocational training. The initiative, unveiled at Mtongwe Vocational Training Centre in Likoni, will also benefit trainees at Kisauni Vocational Training Centre by offering market-driven courses in outboard engine repair, marine refrigeration and air conditioning, baking technology, accommodation operations, and basic safety and firefighting.
