MOMBASA URGED TO BOOST MARITIME AND LOGISTICS EFFICIENCY TO ATTRACT INVESTMENT

Mombasa has been challenged to improve efficiency across its maritime and logistics sector to attract more investment, expand trade and strengthen its position as a leading commercial hub for East and Central Africa. Speaking during a business breakfast meeting organised by the Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mombasa Chapter, business and maritime stakeholders said rising cargo volumes through the Port of Mombasa present major opportunities for investment and job creation.
