More female students sat for the 2025 KCSE as compared to men

    KCSE: GENDER PARITY 501,214 female candidates accounting for 50.46%, sat for the 2025 Kenya Secondary Examination compared to 492,012 male candidates accounting for 49.54%. According to the Ministry of Education, this is the second time in a row since the inception of the Kenya Secondary Certificate Examinations, that female candidates are more than male candidates.
