Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is appealing to the clergy to help bridge Kenya's deepening political divides and bring rival factions to the negotiating table. Speaking to Catholic bishops gathered in Nairobi for the 21st Plenary Assembly of the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA), Mudavadi cautioned that the country must avoid a repeat of the post-election violence that followed the 2007 General Election as it prepares for the 2027 polls. Willy Lusige reports.
