Muturi urges audit of IEBC and population registers

Democratic Party leader Justin Muturi has called for an urgent, comprehensive, independent forensic audit of the population master register to ensure accurate election data ahead of next year’s general election. In a statement, the former attorney general said the audit should also extend to the independent electoral and boundaries commission register, after questions emerged over the fate of voters who registered before 2012.
