Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi has disclosed the reasons he opted not to join the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) after resigning from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). Speaking during a TV interview on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Havi revealed that although he initially intended to join ODM, internal dissatisfaction among key party leaders made him reconsider. He cited concerns raised by figures such as Siaya Governor James Orengo, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, and Nyamira Senator Okongo Omogeni, saying their discontent signaled deeper issues within the party.
