The National Fund for the Disabled of Kenya (NFDK) is calling on county governments, development partners and well-wishers to strengthen partnerships in support of institutions that care for persons with disabilities. Speaking during the commissioning of a new girls' dormitory at Muriranjas Rehabilitation Centre in Murang'a County, NFDK Board of Trustees Chairman Prof. Francis Kibera said the fund receives more requests for assistance than it can support due to limited resources. He urged more stakeholders to partner with the fund to expand access to critical infrastructure and services.
