Former Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu and Kitui Central Member of Parliament Makali Mulu are calling for the resignation of President William Ruto. According to Ngilu, the president has not been listening to the voice of the people who elected him thus he should leave office. Makali on the other hand argues that the Head of state is to blame for the current political situation and not Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. The two leaders were speaking in Kitui where they graced Kenya National Union Teachers Kitui branch Annual General Meeting
