NSE profits surge 131 percent as revenue tops 1 billion shillings

The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) more than doubled its profitability in 2025, posting a 131 percent jump in earnings to stand at 272.2 million shillings, signaling a strong rebound in market activity. On the other hand, the bourse’s revenue crossed the 1 billion shilling mark for the first time, even as operating expenses rose by 10 percent to 741.5 million shillings.
