ODM appoints Vihiga governor Wilber Otichillo as party patron

Vihiga governor Wilber Otichillo has been appointed as patron of the ODM party, replacing Senator Godfrey Osotsi. The changes were announced yesterday during a delegates meeting as officials termed the move a party clean-up exercise meant to relieve errant members who are no longer championing the interests of the ODM party, off their duties. All ODM officials in Vihiga who are aligned to the Edwin Sifuna and Godfrey Osotsi camps were expelled, and their positions filled by interim officials.
