ODM demands 50-50 power-sharing deal with UDA

Even as President William Ruto tours the Nyanza region, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is making clear its demands ahead of planned coalition negotiations. ODM Secretary General Catherine Omanyo says the party will settle for no less than a 50-50 political arrangement. Her remarks echo those of Deputy Party Leader Simba Arati, who is also pushing for equal power-sharing with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
