Opposition rallies behind DP’s candidate in Mbeere North

Opposition leaders have vowed to give President William Ruto and the UDA Party a bruising battle in the Mbeere North by-election. In the first major showdown between the Opposition and the Government in the Mt. Kenya region, where President Ruto’s popularity appears to be waning following his fallout with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, the opposition who campaigned for DP's Newton Karish, exuded confidence to capture the seat.
