More than 400 hospitality workers from Kenya's Coast region have graduated under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Upskilling Programme, receiving nationally recognised certification aimed at strengthening the country's tourism workforce. The fully funded initiative, implemented by the Tourism Fund in partnership with the State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), certified experienced hospitality professionals who had gained skills through workplace experience but lacked formal qualifications.
