Photos and videos place police officer at Rex Masai protest shooting

Photographs and videos of a man believed to be a police officer once again dominated proceedings in court during the inquest into the death of Rex Kanyike Masai, who was killed at the height of protests against the 2024 Finance Bill. Witness Joshua Mutua, a forensic and crime scene investigator with the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), relied on photographs and video footage recorded during the incident to place the officer at the scene where Rex Masai was shot.
