Police arrest suspected serial rapist Oscar Wanyonyi in Kiambu

Police officers from Tigoni in Limuru, Kiambu County, have arrested a man suspected of being a serial rapist. Oscar Wanyonyi is accused of using his social media accounts to target and lure young women into meeting him, after which he robs them and subjects them to rape. So far, 10 young women, who claim to be victims, have recorded statements at Tigoni police station with police officers urging any other victim to come forward. Wanyonyi is also reported to have been arrested over similar allegations before being released by the courts earlier this year.
