PPDT directs ODM to resolve Sifuna dispute internally amid factional splits

The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT) has ruled that it has no Jurisdiction in determining the Edwin Sifuna - Orange Democratic Movement Secretary General Position Dispute. The tribunal instead directed Sifuna and the party leadership to resolve their differences through ODM’s internal Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism, ahead of the National Delegates Conference on Friday in Nairobi. Sifuna's Linda Mwananchi faction on the other hand is also set to stage a parallel delegates meeting dubbed 'People's NDC', on Friday in Nairobi, as divisions within the Orange party deepen.
