President William Ruto has this morning met with the Kenya Kwanza parliamentary group in readiness to kick off the bipartisan process of recruitment of the new commissioners and chairperson of the independent electoral and boundaries commission. Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichun’gwa leading member of the national assembly and Aaron Cheruiyot leading senator from the ruling coalition. Azimio chief Raila Odinga is also expected to bring up to speed Azimio MPs on the matter., legal pundits, however, argue that the bipartisan approach must also bear in mind the IEBC selection panel in place which has already begun the commissioner's recruitment
