QUIT POLITICS, MP TELLS ORENGO OCHIENG URGES OLD GUARD TO GIVE WAY TO YOUTH

Ugenya MP and Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) party leader David Ochieng has called on Siaya Governor James Orengo to quit active politics and pave the way for a younger generation of leaders. Speaking during a fundraiser at St. Anne’s Sega Catholic Church grounds in aid of Sega Girls Secondary School, Ochieng accused Orengo of failing to uphold the democratic ideals he has championed for decades, particularly freedom of choice and expression.
