Raphael Tuju granted anticipatory bail, avoids arrest and detention

The High Court has granted former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju anticipatory bail of 200,000 shillings, blocking his arrest and continued detention by the police. The embattled businessman is receiving medical treatment after being rushed from the karen police station where he had been initially detained, prior to his arraignment for allegedly giving false information to a person employed in public service.
