Religious leaders urged to take a collective stand against corruption

Religious leaders in the country have called for restraint and sobriety as the country prepares for the upcoming general elections. Speaking during an interfaith dialogue at the Hindu Council of Kenya which aimed at finding ways of combating corruption through scriptural values, Patrick Mutuku urged leaders to stop the culture of bribery and voter buying saying this erodes democracy and subverts the true will of the people.
