The 2025 rhino charge kicked off early Saturday morning with 64 vehicles participating in the thrilling event being held in Saimo Soi, Baringo County. The 36th edition is an off road competition to conserve environment more so provide entertaining cruise for spectators. In line with rhino charge’s commitment to safety, fairness, and sustainability, this year’s event marks a milestone: the debut of the first-ever electric vehicle entry. Car no. 29 symbolizes the blending of rugged tradition with modern environmental consciousness. Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi flagged off the competition lauding efforts done by organisers to bring the event to Baringo.
