Rongo University has announced the establishment of a new satellite campus in Migori town, marking a major milestone in its mission to expand access to higher education in the region.
The university will take over land in Suna West Sub-County, currently occupied by Migori Teachers Training College (TTC). As part of the plan, Migori TTC will be relocated to Kwa Ward in Suna East Sub-County.
Speaking during the Education stakeholders meeting at the TTC, Suna West Member of Parliament, Peter Marasa, said the move will bring economic transformation to the area.
