Ruto cautions Kenyans abroad against relying on social media for information from back home

President William Ruto has cautioned Kenyans living in Italy against relying on social media to get information on what is happening back home, warning that widespread misinformation is distorting the reality of what the government is delivering on the ground. The president says a section of unpatriotic Kenyans are spreading false narratives online, using propaganda as a political tool to sway public opinion and mobilise the masses.
