Ruto orders emergency response as floods devastate multiple counties

President William Ruto has directed multiple government agencies to activate emergency response plans following heavy rains that have caused widespread destruction and loss of life across several counties. The agencies including the Kenya Defence Forces, the National Police Service, Kenya Power, and the State Department for Special Programmes have been ordered to coordinate efforts to mitigate the impact of flooding and assist affected communities.
