Ruto promises learners a seamless transition to senior school come January 2026

President William Ruto has assured parents across the country that the over 1.1 million learners in Kenya will be transitioned from junior school to senior school in January. Speaking at the Covenant Church International, Rotian, Narok County, the head of state noted that there is ample space in the various schools after the administration built 23,000 more classrooms. Ruto stated that by January, the Government will have hired 100,000 teachers to ensure learners receive ample tutelage.
