Ruto signs supplementary budget, security sector gets biggest boost

President William Ruto has assented to the supplementary appropriation bill, approving adjustments to the national budget to address urgent priorities. In the new appropriation, the security sector remains the biggest beneficiary, with an additional allocation of 60 billion shillings, out of which the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration receives 11.9 billion shillings.
