Ruto unveils Nairobi decongestion plan with Thika Road expressway

In his Jamhuri Day speech, President William Ruto detailed his ambitious plan to decongest traffic in the capital city. He announced the construction of an expressway on Thika Road and expounded on plans to dual the circuit linking the Bomas—Ongata Rongai—Kiserian road and the Bomas—Karen—Ngong road. In what he styled as a Christmas present, President Ruto also touted the rehabilitation of the roads that shoulder the expressway from JKIA to the ABC junction on Waiyaki Way.
