Ruto vows to tackle cartels amid fuel import row

When it comes to matters of imports and exports in Kenya, the word “cartels” is not unfamiliar. In the latest row over the importation of fuel outside the government-to-government (G-to-G) arrangement, the word “cartel” is dominating proceedings, with William Ruto vowing to defeat cartels. As Citizen TV's Stephen Letoo reports, talk of cartels extends to nearly all essential imports, from fuel to fertilizer and maize to sugar.
