Ruto’s security tightened in Kilifi and Mombasa after breach incident

President William Ruto had his security reinforced today in Kilifi and Mombasa counties following a shake-up in the presidential escort leadership. The adjustments come a day after an incident in Kilifi County in which an individual breached the president’s security and accessed the head of state. According to reports by Emmanuel Too, additional officers were deployed for crowd control as the president commissioned development projects and continued campaigning activities in the coastal region.
