The state of security in the country is once again under the spotlight after four police officers and two KDF soldiers were arraigned over alleged involvement in robbery incidents in Kitengela town. Three general duty officers and one DCI detective were arrested on Monday after they allegedly stole a diamond necklace and cash valued at over 600,000 shillings. In a separate incident, six other suspects, including two KDF soldiers, were arrested on Wednesday after they allegedly planned to rob the home of their boss, Major General George Okumu.
