The Senate Committee on Labour and Social Welfare is accusing the police of dragging the investigation of an alleged fraud by First Choice Recruitment and Consultancy Agency where more than 8,000 youth in Uasin Gishu County reportedly lost millions of shillings on promises of getting jobs abroad. The Committee on Thursday summoned the Director of the Agency Judy Jepchirchir, Health CS Susan Nakumicha and the Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome demanding answers on how the agency conducted the recruitment process and why investigations are yet to conclude more than a year after the scandal was exposed.
