The National Police Service has dispatched more security officers to Tseikuru, Kitui county, after seven people were killed when a heavily armed gang raided a local trading centre. Speaking at Kwa Kamari Police Post, Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat, who visited the area, said that the local police post will be turned into a full-fledged police station. Further, Lagat has assured parents of their children's safety as schools are set to reopen on Monday.
