SH16 BILLION TAIFA GAS TERMINAL NEARS COMPLETION, SET TO LOWER COOKING GAS PRICES

The Sh16 billion Taifa Gas LPG terminal at the Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone in Mombasa is nearing completion, with commissioning targeted for October. The facility, being developed on a 30-acre site near the Port of Mombasa, will have a massive storage capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes through 12 storage tanks. LPG will be supplied from the Kipevu Oil Terminal through a 3.5-kilometre pipeline.
