Six arrested in Kericho mass grave case; postmortem reveals head injuries

Four more suspects have been arrested in connection to the 33 bodies exhumed from Makaburini Cemetery in Kericho County, bringing the number of those behind bars to six. Confirming the arrest, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, who was in Kericho, said there is possible collusion between Nyamira County officials and the caretaker of Makaburini Cemetery. A postmortem conducted on the bodies confirmed that five out of the 33 had serious head injuries.
