SUSPECT ARRESTED AT MOMBASA AIRPORT AFTER ALLEGEDLY SWALLOWING 44 COCAINE PELLETS

A multi-agency security team has intensified the fight against drug trafficking at the Coast following the arrest of a suspected drug mule at Moi International Airport in Mombasa. The suspect was allegedly intercepted while attempting to board a flight to Dubai after swallowing 44 pellets of cocaine. Police later recovered an additional 16 pellets from his residence, bringing the total haul to 60 pellets with an estimated street value of Sh1.5 million.
