A Tanzanian and a Kenyan have been arrested with 110 kilos of ivory

    Two Tanzanian nationals have been arrested and 110 kilograms of elephant tusks, estimated at a street value of 11 million shillings, were seized at the Namanga border in Kajiado County. The suspects Imani Manasi Msumbwa aged 28, and Alton Jilaoneka Kenga aged 33, who were arrested following a tip off from locals, are alleged to have transported the task from Malawi in a Toyota Mark X. A third suspect, identified as Justin Mwalima escaped after suspecting police presence. The suspects are in police custody as investigations continue.
